024: It's all about that Grace | 2 Timothy 1:9

It’s all about that grace, ‘bout that grace,  no trouble! God’s grace has to be the coolest thing in the world. Ok, maybe Love is THE coolest thing (see yesterday’s One Verse, episode 23), but grace is a direct result of God’s Love! What is grace? It’s when we GET something we DON’T deserve or DON’T get something we DO deserve. When you’re late turning in a paper, a teacher can give you grace. When my son disobeys, I can choose not to punish him and give him grace, using it as a teachable moment. But the ultimate grace is God’s forgiveness and salvation through His Son, Jesus Christ! And He had it all planned out before any of us were ever created. Now THAT is grace!
