On this week’s episode of the Bottom Line on KCLR John Purcell looks back over the year that was 2019 as well as looking forward to 2020. Jim Power economist speaks with John Purcell on his overall impressions of the global economy during 2019, he discusses the economies over the past year, growth & inflation, Brexit,  as well as Donald Trump and his ongoing trade dispute with China.  We hear what his thoughts are on the economy for 2020. Earlier on this week John spoke with accountant Alan Seery of O'Neill Foley who gives a roundup from 2019. Alan also gives his thoughts on 2020 and what sectors are set to perform well and what resolutions business should look to set for the New Year. Brian O'Farrell of County Carlow Chamber of Commerce chats to John on how business has been in Carlow over the past year & what challenges have faced business owners in Carlow.
