#024 Wizard of Oz (1925)

from The Blob Show! Hosted by Tony Pellum

Charley and Tony return to Oz for the silent swashbuckling slapstick WIZARD OF OZ from 1925. Silent clown Larry Semon stars in (and writes, and produces, and directs) this auteur piece alongside Spencer Bell, Oliver Hardy, and Dorothy Dwan, and we break down the gags while getting haunted from the other side of the rainbow. Is it the ghost of Larry Semon who some suspect may have faked his own death? Will a mule kick the scarecrow over a fence into a cactus while he tries to get his lollipop back from a duck? Join the anarchy.
