This is Robert Woeger, and this message is so important, because every day you make choices, you make requests, you speak words. The demonic realm is hoping that you will wish for things, and God is hoping that you will come to Him and acknowledge Him as your true source for everything you need in life.And if you'll humble yourself before God and acknowledge Him and make your petitions and your requests to God in faith, then He will surely do it as long as it lines up with His Word and His Will for your life. The enemy of our souls offers many ways, many enticements to try to get things apart from God. One of those things is the making of wishes.So when you make a wish, you're putting out to the universe a request that you want to be fulfilled. You're not putting any stipulation on who should fulfill that wish. That's why it's so dangerous, because legally in the spiritual realm, when you make a wish, any demonic entity can fulfill that wish, and you're making a trade with a demonic entity.That demonic spirit or entity will then have power over you once it fulfills your wish, because it's made a trade with you, and you don't even know the cost of the trade. You made an open-ended wish. That's like saying, I'll pay whatever for this wish to be granted, and when it comes time to collect what that demonic entity wants for fulfilling the wish, you don't want to have to pay, or be in bondage, or put your generations in bondage to a debt to that demonic entity.That's called a generational curse, and many people are under generational bondages and curses, because one of their ancestors made a trade with a demonic entity through a wish or making a petition to that demonic entity. When you make an agreement, you are in bondage to whomever you make the agreement with. When you make an agreement with God, with Father God, there are no sorrows in that agreement, because only good things come from God.But when you make a wish, and you agree with whatever demonic being you've made the wish to, and that fulfills your wish, you may have fame, fortune, or money for a season, but there'll be a time when you have to pay a penalty, because you're in bondage to that demonic entity that you traded with to get your wish granted. We need to be careful of children's stories, of movies, of amusement parks that promise that when you wish upon a star something will happen, or anyone that promises or talks about a genie granting wishes. If you rub the magic lamp, you'll get so many wishes for unlocking a genie.A genie means a demon. It comes from the word jinn, J-I-N-N, and it's well known that genies are demons who grant wishes, but with conditions. So you can see how demonic it is when we make wishes and just put them out there in the universe for anyone or anything to grant.We make wishes because of a trade, or a covenant, to a genie or to any mystical creation, like a leprechaun, a fairy, or any other kinds of enchantments or magic. Stay away from anyone who promises you magic, fantasy, or anything that is apart from God, because with God all things are possible, and God does not withhold any good gift from you. It's His Delight.Let's look at Philippians chapter 4, verses 6 and 7. It says, Be anxious for nothing but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving present your request to God and the peace of God which surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. So this is the biblical model of how to ask anything of God. We are to come being anxious for nothing, not fearful, no anxiety, but in everything by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your request to God.Know that God hears you, and know that God will answer your prayer and petitions in His Perfect Timing. So instead of making a wish to a star, or to a demonic entity, or to a genie, or any other mystical creature, don't let them fulfill your wishes, but honor God and put him first. He is the true power source, because anything else is witchcraft.Witchcraft is rebellion. It's tapping into a power source apart from God. So if anything apart from God fulfills your wishes, your petitions, or your desires, you have tapped into the demonic, into the witchcraft realm.There's a reason why witchcraft sounds very similar to wish craft because every witch makes petitions with words, incantations to demonic beings. Witches make wishes to demonic entities to fulfill them. That's what spells and incantations are all about.Instead of tapping into the demonic realm through wishes, but in everything make your prayers and petitions to God, always thanking Him for the victory, thanking Him that He will fulfill what you've asked for, because God is a good good Father, and He loves you so much, and He's given you access to Him, through His son, Jesus Christ, and what Jesus did on the cross. Isaiah 26:3 says, You will keep in perfect peace the steadfast of mind because he trusts in you. The key is faith. We walk by faith and not by sight. If you're looking for a shortcut to get anything, you're practicing idolatry, because you're violating God's Commands, that you will have no other gods before you, because when you practice wish craft, the making of wishes to demonic entities, you are violating God's Law, because you are looking for a power source that's apart from God, from a demonic power source. So stop making wishes. Repent for any magic, or wishes, or incantations that you've ever been involved with, and instead trust solely in God.Make your prayers and petitions to Him with thanksgiving, and expect that He will fulfill them, because if you believe upon The Lord Jesus Christ you will be saved, and you'll be entitled to all of the blessings that God has for you in His Word. I hope that this message has opened your eyes. Be careful what you wish for.Also be careful who and what you allow to speak over you, because what you allow to be spoken over you can control and influence you as well. Be careful what song lyrics you agree to and sing. Be careful for anything demonic that you choose to be drawn to or you choose to repeat.These catchy phrases from these children's movies, and things that are totally trusting in the demonic realm, to grant wishes from genies or magic beings. Instead trust fully in God and expect Him to do it, that He will fulfill whatever you seek that's according to His Will.
