025 FIFM - Automate That Crap! (How to Make Tough Decisions a No Brainer)

from Freedom in Five Minutes

Making consistent decisions is hard, especially when it is something that you know you need to do.  In this episode I shared a #lifeprotrip and a story of how when you put a system or automation in place for your decisions you can very quickly make decisions and stay on track with your #habits. I'm lazy by nature... and I know that unless I can make things dead simple or easily measured I will never continue to keep a habit.  For example, I was recently sick for the last few weeks and fell out of a couple of habits like working out and waking up early.  but because I have a system I was able to tell exactly why I was feeling bored and how I can easily get back on.  Also, podcasts can be a pain in the rear and can usually take around 2 hours to complete just one.  Because I know myself I had to create a way to just push a button on my phone and make doing these #podcasts dead simple (and automate the entire post production process). Now there is no excuse not to do them on a regular basis. When you put a system in place you can do the same. Boom.
