026: Chris Reeve: Philosophical Problem of Evil
from Mormon Discussion Archives - Mormon Discussions Podcasts - Full Lineup
Philosophical Problem of Evil In the philosophy of religion, the problem of evil leads to the question of how do we reconcile the existence of evil with that of a deity who is omnipotent, omniscient, and omnibenevolent. This critical argument delves into attempts to show that the co-existence of evil and such a deity is unlikely or impossible, and attempts to show the contrary have been traditionally known as theodicies. Yet the LDS faith offers a unique paradigm to reconcile this age old question. Chris Reeve hosts this episode of we reconcile evil in the world in a way that leaves room for Faith.
