026: Jerry Katz - From Poor Immigrant to Living the American Dream

Born on a blustery winter's eve in the city of Moscow, November 30, 1970; Gerald Katz was then known as Igor Katz. His family left for a home in the United States before little Igor was 3. The family Katz took charge of their destiny unafraid of failure and motivated to find their Mecca here in the United States. Igor became Gerald, (Thanks to dad's taking to President Ford), learned to speak Russian, English, and Spanish and he's been the master of his passions and vision ever since! Over the years his entrepreneurial projects include real estate (sold his holdings for $36M), property management, insurance (he is currently the CEO of Premier Protection Insurance which is approaching $10M in sales), hotelier, lending, motivational speaking, mentoring and he is currently the President of Entrepreneurs Organization of South Florida. And most importantly Jerry is proudest of being a father.
