026. THC: Contact High III
from theHURTCIRCUS Hosted by Nicholas Ridiculous
Here we are at episode 26! Lockdown here in Ontario has been long, for anyone who ever wondered what it would be like to live the movie Groundhog Day, we made it bb. In today's episode we get into how people who lack personal power enforce their will upon others, and how that power can be used and abused. All in relation to events in my personal life that are cementing age old beliefs in a broken system. This being a Contact high episode, we briefly discuss the effects of over consumption. How that chase and race to make yourself feel good can cause ripples in your ability to feel joy and pleasure later in life, co-opted by a mental stigma of not deserving it anyways. We end off the episode on a series of clips from an acid trip circa the summer of '17. How do we come to terms and reconnect with ourselves? Can we deny ourselves the reality of who we are in hopeS to appease those we despise most? Welcome to theHURTCIRCUS. Thanks for tuning in! Much love and respect! N.
