#027: Jacqueline Colello on Overcoming Addiction and Becoming a Successful Artist
from Cultivate with Alex Canavan · host CNY Women's Network
In this episode, I sit down with Jacqueline Colello, an artist based in Syracuse, New York with a mission is to inspire and uplift her community. She has commissioned murals for large businesses and developers around Central New York, and much of her work can be found in local restaurants, salons, and on the side of historical buildings. Jacqueline is very open about her life before becoming an artist. She struggled with addiction for many years and received 3 DWIs during that time. While this was a big part of her life, after meeting God, her life has completely changed and she has been sober for over 10 years. Jacqueline is incredibly talented, and she’s actually hosting her next art show in downtown Syracuse (499 s Warren street) on Saturday, April 6th at 6:00 pm. She is only offering pre-sale tickets online, so you will definitely want to get your hands on them! You can find more information about Jacqueline’s art show and buy tickets here.
