Barry's Hotel was one of the early focal points of the Irish Civil War. The hotel's story, and that of the war itself, is told through the eyes of its owner, Annie Farrington; letters sent by Liam Lynch to his brother; and historian Padraig Yeates, who has a personal family connection to the skirmish that occurred around the hotel.
