028: What Teachers Make With Taylor Mali

Early on in my teaching journey, I came across a Def Jam Poetry video segment called "What Teachers Make" by Taylor Mali. He dramatized that teachers are not in it for the income, but for the outcome. I started following him on Facebook a couple of years back and in a moment of, "Why not?" I asked him if he would be a guest on my podcast. To my utter disbelief, he said yes!
