Today, I’m joined by Tom Burbage, and we're talking about Building the F-35 Lightning II. Tom is a Naval Academy graduate, former Navy Test pilot, industry leader, and author. As a Naval Aviator, he accumulated more than 3,000 hours in 38 different types of military aircraft and retired as a U.S. Navy Captain in 1994. He also worked at Lockheed Martin as an Executive VP/GM for both the F-22 Raptor and the F-35 programs. He is the co-author of the book F-35: The Inside Story of the Lightning II.
