#029 – Dee Bridgett

from The Recluse Podcast · host Allen Orrante

Dee Bridgett is a health educator with the Department of Public Health in Los Angeles County. She earned a bachelor’s degree in health education with a minor in human sexuality studies from San Francisco State University. She went on to earn a master’s degree in public health from California State University, Northridge.  In this conversation, Dee and Allen discuss her early interests in human sexuality and how that lead her to pursue an education in public health. They talk about the current social climate and the ways in which people can be micro-aggressive or exhibit subtle forms of racism. Towards the end, Dee makes the argument that this movement must sustain the energy it has now; it cannot simply be a moment, but a movement.  Social Media https://www.instagram.com/stellarose90/
