Una presión que puede parecer inofensiva, pero que en algunos casos se convierte en un factor de riesgo para quienes conviven con un trastorno de la conducta alimentaria (TCA). Sobre ello trata el nuevo episodio de Mentes Abiertas, el podcast de NueveCuatroUno sobre salud mental que aborda esta ves los trastornos por TCA junto a Daniel Esteban, psicólogo de ACAB Rioja, y Diego López Lafuente, un joven que ha vivido en primera persona una bulimia. Un diálogo necesario, didáctico y profundamente humano sobre anorexia, bulimia, trastornos por atracón y todo aquello que muchas veces no se ve. Daniel empieza este podcast desmontando una idea clave: el propio nombre puede llevar a error. «Hablamos de trastornos de la conducta alimentaria, y eso da pie a pensar que es un problema de conducta, pero hablamos de un trastorno mental grave». La comida es solo la parte visible de algo mucho más complejo. «Si nos imaginamos un iceberg, la parte visible es la conducta, pero la parte mental es mucho más grande».
