03/03/2024: Ep 9.2: Master of the House

In Matthew 13:51-52, Jesus concludes his series of parable teachings with a mini-parable that explains that those who understand his parables are called to function as “scribes” of the kingdom; meaning that they must transcribe God’s word onto their hearts and translate the kingdom message for others. Both the Old and New Testament are for our edification and are seen as valuable treasures to be put on display for the glory of God.Is there something about Scripture you’d like to learn more about (a specific book, history of the Bible, a theological idea, etc.)? Put your “scribe” hat on this week and do some learning.How has Scripture been new for you in different stages of your life? Think of someone who is in a stage of like you were once in and reach out to provide encouragement.
