"ADDICTED TO INK: IS YOUR TATTOO APPETITE TAKING OVER YOUR LIFE?" The trend for tattoos is becoming an all consuming passion for some people, leading them to go into debt to get tatted up. Some are even running out of space on their bodies. From hip hop artists to professional athletes and their fans, body art is as common as pierced ears....but does it work for everyone and are there still stereotypes about it? Since visible tattoos are now accepted in places they were previously banned - like high fashion runways - (think of Jeremy Meeks also known as "Prison Bae") ,they're also losing their shock value. But there are still some places where you cannot work if you have visible ink on your body. And what happens if you're trying to get away from a gang-affiliated tattoo or you're no longer with the lover whose name is on your body?
