We have a great interview with Dave Venghaus that we are excited to share! He has worked as an Assistant Director to some of the world's best, including Gary Marshall, Steven Spielberg, Ben Stiller, John Krasinski, Jon Favreau, Robert Zemeckis, Gore Verbinski, and many more. He dives deep into his set life as a 1st AD and a Director, the importance of mentors, and the best qualities to have when you are the 1st AD running your sets, big or small. But most importantly, never give your very expensive Bigfoot costume to a guy you just met.
