Just after achieving victory over the Philistines, King Saul burned in anger and jealousy over the future king's successes. He meant to do him harm, in retaliation for all that God was doing in David's life. But David, by God's Spirit chose the 'higher ground'. What King Saul meant for evil, David chose to use for God's good. How often do you encounter those who wish you harm, simply because you are a Christian? This message encourages believers to always choose 'the higher ground'. You may just turn someone's life around by a simple act of love, kindness and mercy.
