#032 Guided Jin Shin Jyutsu Meditation - How to Feel Our Feelings Without them Controlling Us

from Finding Joy in the Hard · host Suzanne Andora Barron

In this guided meditation, I teach you how to use your hands and breathe to ease physical and emotional discomfort, specifically front of the head headaches. (To get the full benefit, I suggest your read my 3/31 newsletter that I issued yesterday. To access that newsletter, I give details below on how to get in touch). In this meditation, I offer a short teaching on how to feel our feelings without our feelings controlling us. I guide you through a visualization that helps you visualize your dreams. This is a meditation I taught via zoom this morning. When I recorded it, I hadn't intended it to support episode 31., "Are you pursuing your dreams?" which I released earlier today. In episode 31, I suggest you practice a 4 minute visualization. daily. You can use the visualization in this guided meditation if you wish. This meditation also pairs with a question I shared in my weekly newsletter - Do you live life like it's transitory  or permanent? Many of us live like we'll live forever; like we'll be stronger tomorrow than today. But life is transitory. The people in our lives are transitory. How can we live this life feeling our feelings without them controlling us? How can we make sure we tell the people in our life how important they are to us. Take a listen and see what you think. If you'd like to receive the 3/31 newsletter contact me at [email protected] or DM me at https://www.instagram.com/suzanneandorabarron/ and I'll send it to you. If you'd like to receive my Sunday newsletter, you can sign up at www.suzanneabarron.com The information presented on this podcast is for educational purposes only and is not intended to diagnose or prescribe for any medical or psychological condition, nor to prevent, treat, mitigate or cure any such conditions.
