033: Abortion Postscript - Abortion is an evil even greater than slavery, new tactic, 3 new objections, Pet the Peeve of worship music
from Thinking to Believe · host Jason Dulle
In this abortion postscript episode, I argue that abortion is an even greater evil than slavery because abortion is a violation of the most fundamental of all rights: the right to life. I also offer a new tactic for helping pro-abortionists think about what it is that gives humans their value and right to life, and offer answers to three additional objections to the prolife POV: (1) Women need abortion to have equality with men; (2) Christians should support abortion because it increases the number of people going to heaven; (3) Christians should not oppose abortion because abortion is a lesser evil compared to hell. Finally, I round out this episode with a new segment I call "Pet the Peeve." As the name implies, it's my chance to pet the peeves that get under my skin. The inaugural peeve is the claim that our worship should not be affected by the music being played in church.
