033 Addressing your comfort zone

from Fail Forward

Welcome to episode 33 of the Fail Forward podcast. We've all heard the saying "Good things happen when you step out of your comfort zone" and I couldn't agree more.  In fact, I reframe the so-called comfort zone as a danger zone. Because, all too often, when you are comfortable you relax. Maybe even become a little complacent. And, in my experience, you become a little less productive. In this episode I explore why being out of your comfort zone can result in the most productive periods of your life, how to overcome the challenge of staying out of your comfort zone and test why, if you think you're OK with being comfortable, you should think again. Because one thing's for sure - if you could bottle the productivity that happens when you're facing tough times, you'd be amazed at what  you could achieve.  Listen now and ask yourself; what do you need to do to keep pushing forward, to fail fast, to fail often but most importantly to fail forward?
