In this first Pride Month* episode of the Empowerment Studio Podcast, we’re joined by our longtime supporter, community member, and total superfan: Eda (short for Edalyn, they/them). Eda just completed a boudoir photo shoot in the Empowerment Studio that was years in the making—and this conversation is a reflection of everything it meant to them.But for real, y'all: this session had me emotional too. Eda was one of the very first people I photographed when I started my photography business back in 2012/2013. Here in the Empowerment Studio, we talk about the beauty of timing, claiming space as a queer and gender-fluid person, and what it felt like to adorn stretch marks and tan lines in gold as a celebration of a body that’s been through so much and keeps going.
