034 - Trail Chaplain: Serving and Blessing Hikers with Brad "Shep" Sasser

He and his wife, Michelle, have been involved in outdoor ministry since 2019. He also talks about his journey from being a pastor to becoming a trail chaplain and how outdoor recreation and nature play a role in his ministry. He also talks about a time of burnout in his life when he was a bivocational accountant and a pastor, and how he learned to prioritize his relationship with God, his family, and his work. Brad emphasizes the importance of finding hobbies and activities that recharge and refresh the soul, and the need for pastors and ministry leaders to take time for their self and their family.
