Dr. Duffin has a degree in microbiology and has incorporated that aspect in all that he does. In this episode Dr. Duffin shares how this is utilized with patients, parents, and colleagues.  Also, given that we are amidst a pandemic, he shares what occurred in 2009 when he contacted H1N1. How it took him out of clinical dentistry but he focused on the science.
