036 -Failure Is a part Of The Journey

Hear Dominique’s amazing story of resilience to passing her LCSW exam. She shared that she had a child in the middle of the pandemic; became eligible to take her clinical exam and was not able to because of the pandemic. The first time she took her exam, she missed it by 1 point. She took it the second time and missed the passing score by 1 point. During her third attempt, she not only had to take on her responsibilities as a single mother of a now 2 yr. old child, but she also became a full time care taker to her mother who had been diagnosed with bipolar disorder, by bringing her into her home. Despite Dominique’s many responsibilities, she was able to buckle down and passed her clinical exam on the third try!
