036: Stepping Up For Our Planet - A Call To ACTION

Hello loves, this is urgent and we all gotta step up as a collective. Be vocal! The tragedies are happening on this planet cannot be longer accepted! Marianne Williamson (Source: Instagram post from August 22nd, 2019)  "The Amazon burning is a reminder of humanity's pathological irreverence toward the earth, a self-destructive dysfunction from which we will heal or possibly not even survive as a species. This is more than a climate crisis; it is a survival crisis, and it should be seen as such. May this fire help to awaken us. The Amazon is roughly half the size of the United States, and the largest rainforest on the planet. It produces roughly 20% of the world's oxygen, being often considered humanity's lungs. The animals, the trees, the flora, the fauna, the land, the priceless ancient ecosystem, the heroism of people...what a horror for the world that this ablaze. May our prayers help bring an end to this incalculable tragedy. Sending all my love to that place of emerald sanctity. Some things are too enormous to rationally explain or even to digest. There will be discussion for years about the logging that contributed to this, the environmental irresponsibility, the failure of governments to protect such a resource, and humanity's need to awaken. Tears and prayers for now.
