038 - Dis-Ease

from 1minutetips · host Rod Gomes

Welcome to 1 Minute Tips! Some people go through life on a permanent state of dis-ease. You probably know at least one person like that. They are constantly thinking and worrying about getting sick. They avoid going out because it’s too cold, or too hot. They know the local drugstore better than the average person. It’s really a shame to see people so paranoid. Guess what happens with people like that? They get sick way more often. Do your part, take good care of your body and mind. And allow it to take care of you, the body is a perfect machine. Let it work. If you get a cold, continue to take care of the body, eat healthy food and allow it to recover. Don’t get your face stuffed with medicine the same second you don’t feel good. I usually have one severe cold per year, and I’m not even close to ideal when it comes to taking care of the body. I’m way overweight, I don’t eat healthy food as often as I should, and my sleep schedule is crazy. But I rarely need to take any medicine. Please remember, this is just my point of view. I encourage you to try focusing on the good things in life, be grateful for the health you have today. I’m in no way giving you medical advice here, it’s really out of my league. Just do what you feel is best for you, but remember, focusing on the bad (in this case, diseases) can only generate bad outcomes. I’m Rod Gomes and I’ll come back with another 1 minute tip soon. Take care, stay active, stay positive!
