This week I'm joined by the wonderful Taylor Kampia of Make a Scene Media. We're talking about pivoting - something Taylor has done a couple of times - first by choice and then forced by circumstance.In 2019, Taylor and her business partner were laid off from their "dream jobs" and they took that as an opportunity to start their own business. They hit the ground running and were thriving and growing when Covid hit forcing them to actually stop and pause. In building the business, they realized they were trying to follow a playbook that wasn't written for them -- they were business owners AND mums so the usual business models didn't work for them and the work they were doing wasn't aligning with the work that made them feel good.
