039: Love Languages and How we can Learn to Love Deeply

from Under the Bodhi Tree · host Bodhi Samuel

This week we'll be exploring Gary Chapman's "The Five Love Languages". In this 20ish minute talk, ill be giving a light overview of the framework as an intro to considering and deepening into what our love language might be and how it may be effecting our relationships. I've found over and over the benefit of this lens on love and relating and i highly recommend the super easy read, or at the very least, doing the quiz or observing yourself to find out in what "language" you naturally give and receive love. Super worth a listen, super worth doing the exercise at the end, and below you can find a link to the quiz! On the five love languages website, there's also a free relationship app that seemed interesting, and ultimately the promo for it is a bit cheesy but worth a watch at least for a chuckle. Ill put that below too because it  really could be a helpful resource.heres the quiz:https://www.5lovelanguages.com/quizzes/heres the app:https://www.5lovelanguages.com/lovenudge/you can find the books here :) :https://www.5lovelanguages.com/resources/books/if you'd like to support me in my endeavors! check outhttps://www.gofundme.com/divedeepwithsamif you want to check out any of my other offerings check outhttps://samkahn90.wixsite.com/divedeepthank you to "the traveling man" for the music on the podcast, check out his other stuff at:www.thetravelingman.comSupport the show
