Malo  and welcome to Season 3 Episode 35 of Breakfast Bites, by  TeivovoSports.com – a wrap of Pasifika Peoples sports on this beautiful  blue sky Friday morning 04 November 2022, coming to you from paradise on  the 180th meridian in the middle of the Pacific Ocean!  In rugby union – finally,  the Cathay Pacific/HSBC Hong Kong 7s returns tonight: 8.28pm USA vs  Spain, 8.52pm Fiji vs Japan, 9.37pm France vs Great Britain, 10.05pm  South Africa vs Uruguay 10.35pm New Zealand vs Samoa and 11.03pm  Australia vs Hong Kong. The big games start again at 3pm tomorrow. In rugby league – watch  out for the Papua New Guinea Kumuls stars - Nixon Putt, human wrecking  ball - Sylvester Namo, Kyle Laybutt, Rodrick Tai and the flying McKenzie  Yei to all shine in their Rugby League World Cup quarter final against  England in Wigan on Sunday at 2.30am Fiji time. The  Rugby League World Cup QF1 tomorrow at 7.30am Fiji time Australia vs  Lebanon at John Smith's Stadium Huddersfield, QF2 Sunday at 2.30am  England vs Papua New Guinea in Wigan, QF3 at 7.30am New Zealand vs Fiji in Hull and QF4 Monday Tonga vs Samoa at 2.30am in Warrington. In athletics – the great Wilson Kiprugut, Kenya's first Olympic medalist, has died at the age of 84 after a long illness. Kiprugut  won a bronze medal in the 800M at the 1964 Olympics in Tokyo and  followed that up with a silver over the same distance in Mexico City  four years later. "Being  the first Kenyan to win a medal in Olympic Games, and the race being  800M, is really a great inspiration. The 800M has been a race for the  Kenyans because of Wilson Kiprugut. He made our country proud," double  Olympic and current World 800M Champion David Rudisha told BBC Sport  Africa. Only in the USA – sports betting is exploding across the US. So far this year to September, total sports betting in the US has reached US$62Billion, up from US$58B in 2021 and killing 2020’s total of US$22B. Imagine the impact of the upcoming FIFA World Cup where the U.S. is pooled with Wales, England, and Iran. In boxing – all the fakery is catching up with Youtube wannabe boxer, Jake Paul. Given  his social media reach is over 30 million followers, selling just two  hundred thousand buys for his last fight vs grandpa Anderson Silva is a  shocking return. And that’s by his fake counting! Insiders say pay-per-view sales were less than 100,000 buys. Jake Paul’s fake boxing career is on a slow burn to zero.
