04 - The Black Clock

We discover why all the clocks in the clock museum stop at 4:30 every day. And it’s going to give a young boy the fright of his life. This spooky story is one of only a few historical horror stories in my archive. It takes place a century ago in a small village, and it could have its roots centuries earlier. It may appeal to fans of M.R. James due to its antiquarian setting, but unlike his classic ghost stories, this story may not be fiction.
