040 Interview: Jamie Stewart

Welcome to this episode of the Fail Forward podcast.   In this episode I'm talking to Jamie Stewart, business coach and one of the founders of Circle Networks.   During the next 50 minutes Jamie and I set out to get to the core of why some networking activity works whilst others don't. Jamie shares his journey from the corporate world to creating a business that supports his life's priorities, and how he's made the shift from anti-networker to the co-founder of a growing network.    In previous episodes I've often talked about the importance of building strong networks despite the fact that I walked away from my first ever networking event without even making it through the door.   Jamie openly admits that he resisted networking for a full four years before finally agreeing to give it a go and having his eyes opened to the potential. In his first year on the networking scene he made £18,000 in sales followed by £88,000 in his second year.    What made the difference?
