Yes, I know what you think of me. You never shut up, never shut up, never shut up, never shut up, never shut up. Take those hands away from your eyes. Welcome to Never Shut Up.

I'm your host, Rose Cress. And today is, no joke, April 1st, 2026, and we are talking about Marys of the Sea. Well, this song is about how someone, we all know who I'm talking about, came to light the lamp for everyone. It's about equal opportunity shining, equal opportunity seeing.

And in this case, there's this invitation to, you know, to really look, to really see. Just like Paul on the road to Damascus when the scales fell from his eyes. It's that seeing things, seeing people, seeing ourselves, seeing the world as it truly is. And this is the light of illumination.

And in the case of Jesus, in the case of yoga, this talks about the light of illumination, the light of wisdom. That comes from within us. We are all sparks. We are all part of this light.

There is no separation. There never has been any separation. We just think that we are stuck in this lie. So we're going to do a practice that covers the eyes, unlike what the song asks us to do.

But this is about, well, healing, energetic healing of the eyes. So we're going to start with rubbing our hands together, getting the palms of the hands nice and warm. And then when those hands are nice and warm, cupping them over your eyes. And you'll open your eyes into the darkness of the palms of your hands.

If you see any light peeking through, you're going to cover that space so that you can see no light. And then with the warmth of the palms of the hands on your eyes, you're inhaling. Imagine the breath inhaling and exhaling through the eyes that this warmth from your palms is soothing and supportive to your eyes. They spend so much time looking.

Looking and staring at light, at computer screens. Looking and judging. The eyes deserve some support, some rest. And this is a beautiful way to engage in resting your eyes.

So feeling the eyes bathed in darkness while they are bathed in the warmth of the palms of your hands. I once read something from some Swami somewhere in time that even in the darkest places, and trust me, I've seen some super dark places in my life, but even in those dark, dark places, that there is a light that comes from within and we can't let go fully of the light because it's the light within. It's the light shining within us. So I like to think about that, especially when it's really dark in a place and just receiving that light that's shining from the back of our eyes, distorted light maybe in our pineal glands.

It's the light of illumination. It's the light of wisdom, and this is what Jesus was talking about when he brought this wisdom to the world. He came to light the lamp for everyone. There is no separation.

It is equal opportunity illumination. Allow the eyes to close before you release your hands, and then once the hands are resting, take a moment here with eyes still soft, still closed, resting. And then when you're ready, allow your eyes to gently find the horizon, and you can start looking again. Imagine if you did this during your day, especially those of you that I know are sitting in front of computers for hours.

Imagine you did this and just supported your eyes a little bit several times a day. It could make a huge difference. All these little tidbits here and there, do I envision you doing, like, yoga all throughout your day with every little tidbit? You bet your ass I do.

So with that, thank you for joining me and Tori for a little mental yoga. Remember, five minutes a day of yoga is so much better than 60 minutes once a week. See you tomorrow. Thank you.

Thank you. Thank you. Say it again, hey, don't push me. I wish a day in the sun, let's put a chance.

He keep the high level, and we won. Relax no racism, fool you. Take your tear to me, fool you, really? Is falling back, and it lights the eye.

You was the little sweet, my dear. You was the little sweet, my dear. You was the little sweet, my dear girl. You was the little sweet, my dear.

Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh. Oh, oh, oh, oh. Oh, oh, oh, oh. Oh, oh, oh, oh.

Oh, oh, oh, oh. Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh. Oh, oh, oh, oh. Oh, oh, oh, oh.
