Eli Escobar interviewed Mr. David Maulsby  from PTSD of America/Camp Hope. PTSD Foundation of America/ Camp Hope (Veterans Organization) is a non-profit  based in Houston that is looking to educate Veterans & their families about this FREE facility to help veterans with PTSD. The organization focuses on Peer to Peer programs or Vet to Vet programs,  and focus on two types of programs a residential program that lasts between 6-8 months which takes place in Camp Hope. They also offer counseling like recovery groups not only for the veterans but also their families.  They focus on how to identify triggers and how to  cope.  Their organization is free to all vets it based in Houston, TX but they talk to and treat veterans all over the US.  Currently there are 58,000 names on the memorial in DC, but it’s widely believed more than 250,000 Vietnam Veterans have been lost to suicide since coming home.
