Yes, I know what you think of me. You never shut up, never shut up, never shut up, never shut up, never shut up. You'll be the grandest lady in the Easter parade. I raise a glass, make a toast, a toast in your honor.
Welcome to Never Shut Up. I'm your host, Rose Kress. It is the weekend, April 4th and 5th, and it is an Easter weekend if you hadn't already guessed or figured that out. We are talking about Easter parade and toast.
You know, these two songs together really represent celebrations, reminiscing, and honoring ourselves, honoring other people. This is the good kind of reminiscing where we look back on things with joy and celebration in our hearts. And sometimes that can be bittersweet, but you know, there are times in our lives where we look back and we look back with anger or hatred or frustration or sadness. There are all of the ways that we can look back.
So we're invited here to look back with a sense of gratitude, joy in our hearts, love, all of the good things, to look back and to see the good. And yes, I know bad things happen, but what if we took a moment to celebrate our past with joyfulness? How do we rise to the occasion of the present moment? How do we rise?
And so that's the practice. We're going to embody this energy of rising. You know, how do you rise in the morning and roll the rock from the tomb of your bedroom and be greeted by people who run away in horror? If you don't know what I'm talking about, you have not read your Bible, but that's okay.
You are forgiven for not having read the Bible. We're going to use this practice of embodying the rising to the occasion by focusing on the lifting of our energy with our breath. So we want to come to a seated position. Now driving, you could do just the breath.
We're going to use an arm movement with the breath so we embody it a little bit better. So you could do the breath while you're driving. Also make some time later to do this. So spine, nice and long.
Let's take three sighing out breaths to release anything that's standing in the way. One more time. This time as you exhale and sigh it out, shake your shoulders. You can shake your head a little bit.
And let the palms come to rest open in the lap. Settle into your breath. And then perhaps thinking of your energy as lying dormant. Maybe you're tired, so this isn't much of a reach, but think of your energy resting in the lower abdomen.
And then with the inhale, we're slowly going to bring the hands, palms facing up in front of us, rising, rising, rising, offering this energy up to the light overhead. And then slowly with your exhale, release your arms down, float your arms down. And then again, we're inhaling, palms open up in front. Like you're raising your vibrations, raising the level of your energy all the way up, offering this energy to the light, to the sun.
And exhale, release the arms down. Let's keep going. Raising the energy. We're turning up the volume on our vibrations.
When we vibrate at a higher level, we come out of that low vibration energy, which is all about judgment. And here we rise to the occasion of celebration, of light, of energy, of joyfulness. Because you know what? The world just needs a little bit more of that light.
Let's do one more together. Inhaling. Lifting the arms, the hands, raising them up, offering it to the light. And then release.
You can keep doing this practice. This is a wonderful early morning practice as the sun is rising, facing the east. As you think about how do I raise my vibration? How do I open up?
How do I lift? How do I engage with the world and others from a place of lightness and ease? And with that, I thank you for joining me and Tori for a little mental yoga this weekend. Enjoy your Easter weekend.
Make sure you eat plenty of deviled eggs. For me, they are my favorite. And remember that five minutes a day is so much better than 60 minutes once a week. Bye.
I couldn't have played to better people in the whole universe. So, um, I played for you all night, but you're going to put my plug. So, um, this is for you. I thought it was Easter time, the way the light rose, rose the year morning.
Lately, you've been on my mind. You showed me the road rose to climb over my day. I had to pull myself out of the land side, over the land side. I thought it was Easter time, the way the light rose to climb over my day.
I thought it was Easter time, the way the light rose to climb over my day. I thought it was Easter time, the way the light rose to climb over my day. To raise a glass, make a tool, touch the new runner. I hear you laugh, beg me now.
Cause on your right, still in your bed, is Mr. Boothai goes with a dove. He's telling me, as I, to let you go. I thought I'd see you again, you say you might do.
Maybe in 2007, you say you might do. I guess you're wrong. I know what you think of me. You never shut up.
I know what you think of me. Thank you.
