My brain pretty much screamed at me, "HOT CROSSROADS BUNS" and then I couldn't think of anything else, so I went for it. I've never made them before, and even though I had some trouble with the dough, I was super impressed with how tasty they were!I used this recipe: https://www.kingarthurbaking.com/reci...I used cranberries and raisins as the dried fruit, and cranberry juice to hydrate them. My dough was probably stickier than it should have been, so I couldn't form neat round buns. Instead I got out a second baking dish, plopped sticky handfuls in, and prayed to the baking gods.
