041. How to raise successful kids without over-parenting with Julie Lythcott-Haims

One of the happiest moments and one of the most scariest moments in any mothers life is the day her baby is born.Suddenly you are totally responsible for this tiny little human being and they didn’t exactly come with a guide or "How To" manual…you just get thrown into the deep end!And from that first day you start thinking about which school your kid needs to go to and getting their name on the waiting list for 5 years from now…They get to school and we dream of them getting A’s, being on the first team and excelling at everything,  that maybe, we never did…A couple of days ago a very good friend of mine sent me a Ted talk of a lady called Julie Lythcott-Haimes…Julie believes in humans and is deeply interested in what gets in our way. She is the New York Times bestselling author of the parenting manifesto How to Raise an Adult.
