Yes, I know what you think of me. Never shut up. Never shut up. Never shut up.

Only want to see you laughing in the Purple Rain. Welcome to Never Shut Up. I'm your host Rose Crass. Today is April 21st, 2026, and we are talking about Purple Rain, of course.

Purple Rain is about being with the one that you love. So Prince claimed that Purple Rain meant, and the quote from him, when there's blood in the sky, red and blue equals Purple. Purple Rain pertains to the end of the world and being with the one you love and letting your faith guide you through the Purple Rain. So, standing here at the end of the world, there's the apology.

Like, an ever meant to cause you sorrow or pain. Just want to see you laughing in the Purple Rain laughing. Here, as it all comes to an end, I just wanted to see you laughing at the end. And so, what kind of practice?

I mean, there's, in yoga, there is no end of the world. There is no reason to have faith in God to see you through the end of the world because there is no end. I mean, there is, but there isn't. There's a dissolution of the world, and, but it re-arices again.

So, it's not that there's no specific ending. It's just to rise in a fall in the same way that our lives rise and fall in this world. And our consciousness rises and falls very much the same as our breath rises and falls in our body. So, there's no reason to have fear because this will all happen again.

And we are just consciousness, the absolute experiencing itself, or the universe experiencing itself. So, there is no reason to have faith or fear. And we could be laughing in that Purple Rain because it's like, oh, hahaha, this is happening again. How wonderful.

Here we are. Time to begin again. Time to dissolve back into the absolute. So, the practice here then is laughter yoga.

And laughter yoga really is what it sounds like. Monaically laughing. No, not maniacally laughing, but laughing. We laugh in the face of everything.

There's research around this. It's about the arising of dopamine in the brain, but not excess dopamine in the way that things like caffeine causes a rise of excess dopamine. And so, we feel the crash from the dopamine sex chocolate. A lot of drugs do that.

There's a really great book called Dopamine Nation, which you can read about that. You can Google around that there's some long form interviews with the author of Dopamine Nation, and she'll tell you about dopamine, how it works, and why having excess amounts of dopamine isn't really what you want because, well, homeostasis in the brain means that dopamine goes away. Is tori or dopamine hit? Like, do we get, when we play wills and wants for the chose, do we get a massive dopamine hit?

When we get a point, oh, hell yeah. Every new tab, it's like a dopamine hit. It feels so good. Anyway, laughter yoga.

It's what exactly what it sounds like. The practice of laughter yoga. We can do things like very good, very good, yay. Or ho ho ho.

Ha ha ha. So, we can laugh, pretend like you got your credit card bill for Tori ticket terror on Tori tour. Ha ha ha ha ha. And we laugh, or you can, I don't know, look at your points where you are in the points.

Ha ha ha ha ha. It's so funny. Laughter yoga. You want to laugh for 20 minutes.

The best way I've found to do laughter yoga is to put on like a comedian and just laugh the entire way through. Just laugh. There's no talking, there's no thought process. You're gonna have to get over your sense of self-consciousness about laughing, and then just laugh.

Ha ha ha ha! And eventually, the laughter turns into real laughter because your brain doesn't care if it's fake laughter or real laughter. With that, I thank you for joining me and Tori for a little mental yoga today. Remember, five minutes of laughter.

Once a day could change your life. Just like five minutes of yoga a day could change your life. I will see you tomorrow. I'll see you tomorrow.

Bye. How do you know I'm good at this fucker than I hear from you know? Production of the Sideways Society. For more information and links to things mentioned on the show, please visit us online at songletoryamis.com Yes, I know what you think of me.
