He went on to acquire a specialized diploma in School Building and School District Leadership just in case he wants to be a principal or superintendent.Experience – He has invested 18 years teaching High School English, and over 5 Years as New York's writing tutor at MrWritingTutor.com.Accomplishments – He has published two books, went from the scoring in the 50 percentile of the SAT in 1993 to score in the 99 percent in the writing section in 2013. Ranked as the #1 writing Tutor in New York City according to Yelp.Fun Facts – John wrote a dating book titled "How to Attract Women If You're Not That Attractive" under the pseudonym, Enrique Voltaire. He said he couldn't find a girl to save his life in High School or college, so he read a bunch of dating books, tested what worked and didn't work, got married, and wrote a book on dating. John has used books to learn almost everything - how to coach basketball, how to build wealth, marketing, sales, advertising, etc.Obstacles Overcame – No one would hire John as an SAT tutor until he studied for the test and did well at the age of 33. His first English Assistant Principal told him to leave the school because of poor classroom management, but he's still there 18 years later as a respected teacher who hosts graduation every year. He even qualified as a "model teacher" and was interviewed for the Assistant Principal position though he didn't get it. He went from not being able to find a date through High School and college to dating, then writing a book on dating and then married with three children.
