043: Natural Twin Home Birth Story

Today's episode features a twin home birth! Kelly and Kevin came through my Hypnobirthing classes in 2020 and had a home birth for their first child(Kevin's 2nd child )and assumed they would have their second baby at home too. But finding out they were having twins opened a few more hoops to jump through. As with so many couples who find out they are expecting two or more babies, parents begin to hear how induction or a cesarean is the next step. Kelly did not allow that to be her story right from the beginning. While she was open to things changing, she never treated her body or her babies as if they were broken and needed saving. That mindset made all the difference in her pregnancy and birth. The importance of having a great doula is also highlighted in today's show as our very own Ashley was in fact their doula who caught a medical issue just in time to get Kelly the help that she needed for herself and her babies.
