044 | 2021 Year-End Review

from The Financial Classroom Canada Hosted by The Canadian Financial Classroom

Listen today as the three of us chat about the year, our own financial wins and losses and what we have learned throughout the year. It’s so fun to look back and see how far we have come individually. Tim has FINALLY gotten on the ETF bandwagon after a year of Will’s “encouragement”, and his continued renting experience saves him thousands a year. Jules has started her own Questrade account and has been consistently investing, and now she has implemented the Smith maneuver! Will has been ever so consistent this year with his investments and has now purchased his first home. And of course it wouldn’t be fair to recap the year without mentioning the birth of his son who has made Will and his wife Jess, first-time parents. It’s been really mind blowing how many messages we have gotten from listeners who have reached out and been inspired by the podcast. We also feel extremely blessed to have had so many knowledgable guests who have volunteered their time to chat with all of us and share their own financial journeys. This was a really fun episode to record and we hope you all enjoy it!
