044: Preparing for the 2025 Wedding Season

Even though it’s only the 2nd day of the New Year, we didn’t want to leave you waiting for our first episode of 2025, so here it is!!We think this is the perfect topic for a January episode and also an updated version of our very first episode that we dropped back in March 2023, so hopefully you’ll hear the improvement.In today’s episode, we’re talking about all those things we do to prepare ourselves, our equipment and our businesses for another busy year of capturing weddings. With most of us probably facing a couple of quieter months before thins really kick off, now is a great time to build new systems, adopt new habits and form new routines that’ll hopefully become mainstay as the season kicks off.We also (maybe controversially!?) think that getting some of these things in place may even be more important than tying up any loose ends of edits from 2024 and you’ll have to listen in to find out why!So if you find yourself staring at your laptop screen and not really knowing where to begin after the Christmas break, this could be the perfect episode to give you the guidance and motivation you need to make the most of this time and make 2025 your biggest and best year yet!
