046: When God's Name Means Everything (Psalm 8)

In the OT, birth names not only obviously identified someone – but the names exposed character of individuals, represented their identity, and often pointed toward some special meaning. Have you ever researched what your name actually means? It’s fun!  And what about all the names of GOD? I had so much fun in this episode reviewing 16 most popular names of God and studying them again using the online Blue Letter Bible as my resource!  Why are these names so important to us as Christians?  They personalize our God.  We are in relationship with Him. We desire to know him better each and every day!  When we hallow or revere the name of God – we are showing Him such devotion, admiration, dedication, and love.  It is heart warming and mind grabbing to meditate on who God is, His character and His identity.  Join me today for a refresher on Who God Is.
