Ancak yolculuktaysanız ve bir katip bulamazsanız, bu durumda bir rehin yeter.         Rahatlıkla güveniniz varsa birbirinize, bu durumda Rab olan Allah'tan sakınsın,         Aksatmadan emanetini ödesin. Bu durumda şahit olduğunuz şeyi gizlemeyin.         Bilakis onu kim gizlerse, şüphesiz günahkar olur. Allah yaptıklarınızı iyi bilir. 284. Allah'ındır göklerde ve yerde her ne varsa. Yüreğinizden geçeni; açıklasanız da         Ketmedip gizleseniz de Allah sizi onunla hesaba çeker. Sonra dilediğini affeder,         Azaplandırır dilediğini de. Şüphe yoktur ki Allah, her bir şeye güç yetirendir. 285. Rabbinden indirilene iman etti, peygamber de, müminler de. Hepsi de Allah'a         Ayrıca O'nun meleklerine, O'nun kitaplarına ve O'nun elçilerine iman etti.         Bir peygamberini diğer bir peygamberinden ayırt etmeyiz. İşittik demişlerdir.         Ayrıca; "itaat da ettik. Ey Rabbimiz, bağışlamanı dileriz. Varış Sana'dır" dediler. 286. Kimseye güç yetiremeyeceğinden fazlasını yüklemez Allah. Lehinedir kim;         Artık ne kazanırsa. Aleyhinedir her ne suç işlerse. "Unuttuğumuz şeyden dolayı         Rabbimiz, bizi muaheze etme. Yanıldığımızdan da bizi sorumlu tutma. Bizden         Ağır yükler yüklenmemizi isteme ey Rabbimiz, Daha evvelkiler gibi olmasın.         Bağışla bizi. Merhamet et bize. Esirge bizi. Sen bizim yüce mevlamızsın.         Artık yardım et bize, kafirler topluluğuna karşı. İnanırız ki, Sen yardım edersin.         (Küfredenler zulmeden kimselerdir. Sana inandık, iman ettik.
