When Mona was just 17 years old, she was involved in an accident that left her with an amputated right leg. But she didn’t let this stop her! Since losing her right leg, she has run a half marathon, she wrote a bike 44 miles in a triathlon event, AND she has summited Mount Kilimanjaro! Unbelievable what she has done! She was one of CNN’s “TOP 10 HEROES” in 2017 for her courageous way of living and motivating others to push themselves to their full potential.
