Elaine is known as "Canada’s Farm Whisperer,” and she’s been a columnist in Grainews for 26 years. Elaine is a member of the Canadian Association of Farm Advisors and the Canadian Association of Professional Speakers with the CSP, certified speaking professional designation. Many folks tell Elaine that they "wish they had met her ten years ago. Her awards include Excellence in Farm Mgt (Wilson Loree 2018), 4-H Canada’s Most Distinguished Alumna (2018), Manitoba 150 Women Trailblazer (2020), Certificate of Merit U of Manitoba Faculty of Ag. (2021).
