05/26/19 Life, Under the Circumstances (Acts 16:4-40)

Dr. Gary Phillips – All too often we identify God’s blessing with good circumstances in our lives. If things are going well, then clearly God is pleased with me (and, of course, I am pleased with Him)! But if things are not going well, then we are tempted to feel like either we are out of God’s will, or that God has abandoned us. But Acts 16 provides us with a fascinating case study of how God may use the good, the bad, and the ugly circumstances in our life to sanctify us and to glorify Himself.
