05: #4 Skill: Interact expertly with Recruiters (even though it feels awkward)

from My Job in Germany

All of LinkedIn is full of recruiters. It's their job to reach out to qualified candidates, attract and motivate them to apply to their company. But still, most professionals feel .. hesitant to get in touch with them and being afraid to make some blunders. There is an easy recipe which I will share in this episode. But first, let's make sure we both share a common understanding of what recruiters are looking for and why. I'll give you three aspects for your communication that you should take to heart, which is  being polite  making sure you have a specific questions and  make sure you're talking to the right recruiter.    This topic and the content is a result from my guidance over the past years, as well as from my mentoring groups. They provide a basic understanding of the job seeking world in Germany if job seeking is not your expert field.    If you have further questions, even more specific ones, you're welcome to send me an audio message/ question. I will gather a few questions and answer them in one of the further episodes. Looking forward to you questions, it'll be a great resource and help for the audience.   I have a wish for this year 2022:  I want to grow the Podcast and help other Internationals to learn more about the German ways of seeking jobs and the job market rules.  Therefore, please leave a rating for this (or any other episodes) directly on spotify.
