05: Julie Clark- Author of The Ones We Choose

Julie, now a NYT's best-selling author for The Last Flight, talked to us right after the debut of her first novel about Pitch Wars, writing at 3:45 a.m. in the morning., and how she finds balance in her life. Born and raised in Santa Monica, California, Julie grew up reading books on the beach while everyone else surfed. After attending college at University of the Pacific, and a brief stint working in the athletic department at University of California, Berkeley, she returned home to Santa Monica to teach.
