I was an asshole to my mother growing up and never realized till i left home how much she meant to me. I ran away from home cause I did not want to work, I just wanted to stay home all day and smoke and fuck, and my mom was trying to tell me i needed a plan. Like every young person I was fueled by my youth and thought I was invincible. I clearly was not and got locked up a few times for some stupid shit. Take my lesson and listen to your parents because you never know what you got until its gone… I wrote this song for you mom. Its not the prettiest song, but its me and its honest. I love you mom.
